Vector Witch is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data to provide the Service:

  • Prompts: Text prompts you submit are sent to our AI provider for vector generation. We do not permanently store your prompts on our servers.
  • Local Storage Data: Your credit balance, generation history, and preferences are stored locally in your browser using localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly share it.
  • Usage Analytics: We may collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics to improve the Service (e.g., total generations, popular styles).

2. How We Use Your Information

The limited information we process is used to:

  • Generate SVG vectors based on your text prompts
  • Maintain your credit balance and generation history locally
  • Improve the quality and reliability of the Service
  • Detect and prevent abuse or unauthorized access

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Cookies & Local Storage

Vector Witch does not use traditional HTTP cookies for tracking. Instead, we use browser localStorage to persist your preferences and data locally. The data we store includes:

  • Credit balance and usage count
  • Generation history (prompts and results)
  • UI preferences and consent choices

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Vector Witch:

  • OpenRouter: AI model provider used for vector generation. Your text prompts are sent to OpenRouter for processing. Refer to OpenRouter's Privacy Policy for details on their data handling.
  • Hosting Provider: Our application is hosted on infrastructure that may log standard HTTP request data (IP addresses, user agents) for security purposes.

5. Data Retention

Since most data is stored locally in your browser, you have full control over its retention. Server-side, we do not maintain persistent records of individual user prompts or generations. Aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: View all data stored locally by inspecting your browser's localStorage.
  • Delete: Clear all locally stored data through your browser settings or by clearing site data.
  • Opt Out: Decline local storage usage via our cookie consent banner (this will limit Service functionality).
  • Inquire: Contact us with any questions about your data.

7. Security

We implement reasonable technical measures to protect the Service and its infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. Data stored in your browser's localStorage is only as secure as your device and browser.

8. Children's Privacy

Vector Witch is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
